Authorized User Terms
These terms apply to each individual who accesses FamilyCase under a firm subscription (attorneys, staff, and other seats the firm authorizes).
1. Account security
Keep credentials confidential. Do not share seats. Report suspected compromise promptly to your firm admin and to FamilyCase support.
2. User conduct & firm authority
You act under your firm's authority. Your firm may revoke access at any time. FamilyCase may suspend access for breach or security risk.
3. Attorney responsibility
Licensed attorneys remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all work product and for compliance with rules of professional conduct.
4. No legal advice; no attorney-client relationship with FamilyCase
FamilyCase is not a law firm. Use of the product does not create an attorney-client relationship with FamilyCase. FamilyCase does not provide legal advice.
5. Mandatory attorney review of AI-assisted work
AI drafts and suggestions are assistive only. No AI output may be filed, served, sent to a client as advice, or relied upon as legal judgment without human attorney review.
